What to expect

This 7-day Classic Iceland tour combines some of the country's best-known natural attractions: waterfalls, glaciers, an ice cave, volcanic beaches, hot springs and Reykjavik's sights.

The journey begins with arrival in Iceland and a transfer from KEF Airport to a Reykjavik hotel. Travelers then join guided excursions and nature experiences.

The South Coast tour visits Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara black-sand beach and Vik. The itinerary also includes Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Vatnajokull Glacier, Diamond Beach and Skaftafell Nature Reserve.

A highlight is a guided natural ice cave visit with a specialist guide and the necessary equipment.

The Golden Circle excursion visits Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall. Time is also allocated for natural hot-water bathing.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Keflavik International Airport (KEF), transfer to a Reykjavik hotel, check in and enjoy free time; a guided city walking tour introduces the main sights according to the itinerary.

Day 2: Breakfast and departure for Iceland's South Coast; visit Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Reynisfjara black-sand beach and Vik. There may be an opportunity to see the Northern Lights if weather permits. Overnight in the Skaftafell area.

Day 3: Breakfast; visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, a natural ice cave with a specialist guide, Vatnajokull Glacier, Diamond Beach and Skaftafell Nature Reserve; return to Reykjavik.

Day 4: Breakfast and Golden Circle tour including Thingvellir National Park, Geysir and Gullfoss; enjoy natural hot waters before returning to Reykjavik.

Day 5: Breakfast and free time in Reykjavik; transfer to Sky Lagoon to enjoy its geothermal facilities, then return to the hotel.

Day 6: Breakfast and free time; travel to Blue Lagoon for the Premium package and facilities, then return to Reykjavik.

Day 7: Breakfast, free time in Reykjavik, check-out and transfer to Keflavik International Airport; end of the tour.
