This 7-day Spain and Portugal tour starts in Madrid and returns there after exploring historic and cultural cities in both countries. The route visits Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Granada and Seville in Spain, and Lisbon in Portugal, with a stop in historic Toledo on the return journey.
The itinerary combines city visits, architecture and historic attractions, from Madrid's Royal Palace and Barcelona's Sagrada Familia to the Alhambra in Granada, Seville's Alcazar and Plaza de Espana, and Lisbon's Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery. Cabo da Roca on the Portuguese coast is also included in the route.
The group travels with an English-speaking tour manager. Services include seven nights in hotels rated three to four stars by local standards, daily light breakfast except on Day 1, and intercity travel by air-conditioned coach. The final night in Madrid is included. Attraction tickets, flights, lunch, dinner, visas and travel insurance are charged separately. Advance tickets are recommended for the ticketed areas of Sagrada Familia and the Alhambra.

Day 1, Saturday | Madrid to Zaragoza: Visit Madrid's Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Espana, Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol. Travel to Zaragoza in the afternoon and visit Plaza del Pilar. Overnight in Zaragoza or a nearby city.

Day 2, Sunday | Zaragoza to Barcelona: Visit the Columbus Monument, La Rambla and Sagrada Familia, and view the exterior of Camp Nou and the Montjuic Olympic Stadium. Overnight in Barcelona or nearby.

Day 3, Monday | Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante: Visit Valencia's Town Hall Square, historic city gates and cathedral, then continue to Alicante. Overnight in Alicante or nearby.

Day 4, Tuesday | Alicante to Granada: Visit the Alhambra complex. Access to ticketed areas is available to travelers who purchased tickets in advance. Overnight in Granada or nearby.

Day 5, Wednesday | Granada to Seville: Visit Seville Cathedral, the Alcazar, Santa Cruz Quarter, Torre del Oro, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de Espana. Overnight in Seville or nearby.

Day 6, Thursday | Seville to Lisbon: Travel to Portugal and visit Cabo da Roca. In Lisbon, the itinerary includes Belem Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and Jeronimos Monastery. Overnight in Lisbon or nearby.

Day 7, Friday | Lisbon, Toledo and Madrid: Return to Spain, stop in historic Toledo and continue to Madrid, with an approximate arrival time of 20:00. The final night is in Madrid or a nearby city.
