The 10-day Discover Morocco from Casablanca tour offers a comprehensive journey through the country's culture, history, architecture and landscapes. Starting in Casablanca, it takes travelers from imperial cities and historic medinas to famous kasbahs and pre-Saharan regions.
The journey begins with arrival in Casablanca and a hotel transfer. Sightseeing includes the Central Market, Habous district, Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, Anfa district and the exterior of Hassan II Mosque.
Continue to Meknes to visit Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables and the Jewish Quarter. The itinerary then visits the holy town of Moulay Driss and the Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing to Fez.
A full day in Fez explores Morocco's spiritual capital. Highlights include the medieval medina, Attarine or Bou Anania madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the exterior of Karaouyne Mosque and traditional souks.
In Rabat, visit the Royal Palace, Ouadayas gardens and kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower, then continue toward Marrakech.
Marrakech sightseeing includes Menara Garden, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia and Dar Si Said Museum. The traditional souks and famous Jemaa el-Fna Square are also included.
Travel through the Tizi N'tichka mountain pass to Ait Benhaddou. Its UNESCO-listed historic kasbah is a major highlight. Continue through the Draa Valley toward Zagora.
The route passes pre-Saharan landscapes, Berber villages and towns including Nkob, Tazzarine, Alnif and Erfoud. An optional 4x4 excursion to the Merzouga dunes can be booked.
In the final part of the tour, visit Todra Gorge and follow the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to Ouarzazate. Return to Casablanca via Marrakech, with an airport transfer for the outbound flight on Day 10.
